Gehraiyo se Bhadhiyan do!

Movie Review: Gehraiyaan
Complicated relationships make the world. No matter how sane we appear from outside, the deeper self is a braided pattern- not very easy to unlock. The expectations, the desires, the zing to get it all right- probably untracks life. Do ideal relationships exist? This is the thought that the movie puts forth.
I was already in love with the music of the film. But unfortunately Gehraiyaan did not impress me too much as far as the performances are concerned. I was looking for a dramatic dose of emotions, but the film does not offer any emotional gehraiyaan. The movie does not fall under your expectations till the actual drama unfolds, which is quiet later.
Gehraiyaan is a one time watch, but not the one to cherish. The end is interesting though. And the last scene will leave you with a small goosebump.
Movie Review: Badhai Do
Badhai Do was definitely a better watch! The film with a cause, it seemed more genuine, and true to life to me. The film gives a shout out to the LGBT community. Again a heavy subject, handled light heartedly, which gives you a reason to leave the theater with no regrets.
Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Chum Darang, and everyone come together as a simple but powerful cast for the film.
The music & songs are a good surprise, when you listen to them in the movie, graduating along with the screenplay. Badhai Do, consumes your thought process and leaves you with a sense of inclusiveness.
Do not forget to watch it this weekend!
