Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan: Movie Review
With Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, a new bee is around. One of the most talked about in recent times, Shanaya Kapoor, has finally debuted with Vikrant Massey. Although I was not very keen on watching the film, I decided to give it a try.
The movie leaves you with nothing interesting by the end. I felt completely disconnected from the story, screenplay, romance, and the emotional quotient throughout the watch.
Three Things to Remember!
The film appeared too perfect to me. Everything has been placed so blissfully that it gives you a sense of uneasiness.
But if you want me to talk about the three noticeable things in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, then they are:-
- Vikrant Massey– He is the only pleasant asset in the film. Infact, the scenes that did not have him made me impatient.
- Cinematography- Tanveer Mir has made sure to make the frames picture-perfect. The aesthetics are good and make you feel delightful.
- Shanaya Kapoor’s Lips- Well, we all know how the parameters of beauty have changed through time. Acting to aahi jayegi, (Acting will come eventually)! But to have a fuller-looking face and body is more important in the Glamour Industry. Acting to aahi jayegi, but looking cute is more important.
Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan: A Watch or No!
You can skip it if you do not like Vikrant Massey, and aren’t very keen on watching him on the Big Parda. Shanaya is average. Zain Khan Durrani’s character is too good to be believed. Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is another lost venture of a Nepo kid. It fails to hit the list of successful films. It felt like a lethargic long take of a love story that was nowhere closer to the real world.
I also felt the movie showcased the emotions in an unnecessarily complicated manner, which was not at all required. Sometimes the simplest things make you feel more compassionate.
