Anything for Sweetheart!

Haseen Dillruba, is a perfect amalgamation of some good acting skills and a screenplay that calls for three cheers. Hip Hip Hurrayx3! If you are someone who does not vouch for star value, big budget, lavish set ups, this FILAM is a must watch for you. 

The screenplay is the star of this FILAM, and trust me, the suspense grasps your watch till the very end. The screenplay is well prepared. The story has it’s loopholes, but they can be ignored wholeheartedly.

This movie is a perfect balance between thrill, and chill. It is a strong build up of human emotions, complications, sorting out things, and getting away with things. Well, don’t expect a great message out of it. The FILAM is a sheer piece of art. And because I watched it just after MIMI, the praise increased more. The way Vinil Mathew handles Kanika Dhillon’s screenplay is worth mentioning.

About the performances

Taapsee Pannu, Vikrant Massey, both carry the FILAM on their shoulders equally. Their performances are up to the mark, and appropriately captures the mindsets of the two characters. Yamini Das (mother in the FILAM) also holds her scenes powerfully, whenever she appears in the story. Harshvardhan Rane, Aditya Srivastava, Ashish Verma and Daya Shankar Pandey, give a good support. But the real hero of the FILAM is it’s screenplay.

There are few illogical findings, but wo hindi FILAM hi kya jisme kuch ajeeb na ho! All in all, Haseen Dillruba deserves a watch. Just grab a big bowl of popcorn, huge bottle of coke, and binge.
